Hello. The name is Tim. I've been out of the game since the 90's, thought I'd get back in before I got too old. Nothing like a little trapping excitement to keep you young! I'm originally from the River city and now live between Festus and Desoto. The wife thinks we live in the country. I think it's just suburban with a lot of trees. I do have enough woods around to manage a small full time line or two though and I've never had that before. I'm looking forward to refreshing my memory and picking up any new info I can here and maybe making a few friends.

Hello all, my name is Tony.I,ve been looking around here for a few days and this sure seems to be a great spot to learn and talk trapping. My dad and I are going to start trapping this year, he trapped when he was younger and I've always wanted to give it a try so we finally broke down and bought some traps. We have ran coon dogs most of my life(until I started working nights some years back). Its getting to where a guy can't run dogs without getting a in trouble for trespassing so I've pretty much givin up in that except going with my uncle once in awhile.Going to focus mostly on coons this year but will probably try to catch some coyotes too.

Hello all, my name is Austin Williams, I live in Bloomfield,mo which is southwest of cape girardeau,mo. I had an account on here in 2010/11 somehow forgot my password and the email account got hacked, so I made a new account. It's glad to be back first off I am 26 yrs old. And I announce professional rodeos all over the greater Midwest, from South Georgia to the U.P of michigan, that is what keeps me busy in the summer,I grew in the cowboy scene, I also auctioneer in the winter and I am married to my wife Samantha and she traps with me some in the winter, she enjoys catching cats. (Which who don't) I started trapping on Christmas break's when I was 14. And I have never been able to get away from it since. But never got fully into until a few years ago. I really enjoy every aspect of it. My favorite is predator trapping, I do like slamming coons and muskrats as well. I intend on running my first longline this year, it great to see the knowledge that floats aroun this site, It is so helpful to so many and that I what is great. Well it has been cool to read thru everybody else's introduction... So hope you enjoyed mine! God bless you all!
