Gonna be a real bitch this week, high 90's and triple digit temps for the weekend. I'm getting too old for this shit!

We keep getting these little rains that dont do much for the plants but raise the humidity.

A buddy of mine and his wife are in northern Minnesota on vacation now. He said it gets down into the lower 60’s at night and the humidity isn’t bad during the daytime. They are headed back tomorrow and they will want to go back when they feel this Missouri heat and humidity.

The British are really hurting as they have record highs and no air conditioning.

I myself prefer cool(er) weather but whatever- I'll be out in it as much as possible so as not to become any softer than I already am. I also will not turn on the air in my truck, although it feels pretty good here in the house.
I plan to fish Friday to shoot a YT video. Yup.

This hot weather is going to cause me to do most of my fishing at night. As long as the bugs don't eat me up.
I fish almost exclusively on the Mo. river and it has been steadily dropping to unusual lows this year.
I for one will be glad for fall.

Been working on my brothers auction. It is hot but not bad in the shade as long as theres a breeze. I hope the 104degree forecast for Saturday doesnt hurt the attendence but you know it will.

Absolutely perfect weather for making waxed dirt. I did 10 gallons yesterday. It wasn't to bad working on a cattle waterer with arms up to my shoulders in the water, which is bad in January. Other than that it stinks. Grass is really hurting and pond levels are dropping.

My solar wax melter for beeswax is bubbling.
I found a couple boxes of paper shotgun shells. Kind of dry looking paper. They were jc higgins super high power #6. I put them out in the sun in the barbeque and they look brand new. Wife was screaming that it was gonna blow up.

Feels pretty good out there now. Looks like a little cooler this week. We're still missing the rains though.

Been raining here since about 3:00 am. Really cooled things down. Wouldn't mind if it did this for a couple days.

Poured all night. Still coming down. The ground is taking it all in. Last night it dropped 15 degrees so I made a mad dash outside working. Forecast is still hot with steam.

Just read that since Feb. we have only had 2.63 inches. Now you know why we need this rain so badly.

We only got about 1/3 of an inch today. Stayed cloudy which helped but still need a bunch more to catch up.
Mike, they've had rains all around us all year. We just aren't catching any.
