MTA/MDC Trappers Education course

It was brought up to me a month ago to see if i could start up a two day trapping class at the church camp in Stoutland . I agreed to see what i could do . It was to be types of traps, locations ,how to set ,dispatch or release, skinning , fleashing ,streatching. I wanted to let the newbes have the full effect of it. I had ask some local trappers about helping out . But i had no takers because it would have to be durning season or maybe it was held at a church camp . I know that i'm not a great trapper and i still have alot to learn ,but with the newbees and others coming out of the woodwork this year ,maybe it would have been a step in the right direction . So maybe next year i'll give it another shot

Doug , If you need any help just let me know. I don't care if it's during season or at a church camp , it doesn't bother me and I'll make time.

All fifty states plus US teritorys and all Canadain provinces and Mexico are members of The Association of Fish Wildlife Agencies, the provider of BMP studies and information.

How large a part Mo. played in the research development, I don't know, but did have a part in it.
