How do you guys use bacon grease? Straight or do you mix things with it? Also do you just get some on a stick and put it in a hole. Mommas grease trap is full thought I mite try and use it to tap. Also what animals like it? Thanks

Once you get all those grinners out of the way then the fun catches will start!

Bacon grease used to be my go-to for grey and red foxes, along with rotted egg. I still use them both to this day.
I always used the grease straight up, but I know a very successful fox guy who spikes it with smoke or shellfish oil.

Dale Bacon grease with a tiny dab of liquid smoke will make a grey fox dig halfway to China. If a 'possum doesn't get to it first, that is. Ive tolled in a fair amount of coon with it, too. Get a cheap bag of dry dog food and saturate it with bacon grease, and shove it down a dirthole.

Bacon grease works well and is waterproof..Just a glob in a dirthole and coon search it out..Have also used smeared on a sapling and caught em..One set that was behind my old house still had remnants of the bacon grease well after a month later on the sapling..Ive currently just mixed some bacon grease with some old cheese dip that was in the back of the fridge..Wont be able to try it out till next season though..Snowed in here..

Lard is also a great one! thats what we use to fry all our fish/turkeys/taters in. that stuff is like gold to me! i used some over and over again. finally it got nasty. threw it out in the road next to my woods. seen it the other day. either dogs, coons, or yotes gots a hole dug right where i dumped it all at. looks like they actually ate the greese when it hardened and tried to dig it up. lard best stuff to fry with.

My wife caught her first fox this season using bacon grease and fish oil. You can't beat the old stand-bys.
