Catch some crappie and you got the missouri grand slam!!! Exactly what I had for supper this evening. All greys as the yellows are probably a week out.

The big yellows are starting to really pop up now. Picked a gallon yesterday morning while running my dogs.

Went back today and picked another gallon, all fresh. Neighbor went in the hill country and picked a gallon of big greys. I'm done for the year unless I run into a mess during turkey season. Got a limit of ticks too lol.

have wild bees in my hen bit for first time in several years, wish I could still see well enough to course them.. Maxwell, you just cut the tree down and cut it open where the honey is, it helps if you have some one who is scared of bees about 30 yards away as all the bees will attack him/her instead of you. Now that sounds like a plan!!! you will destroy them by cuting the tree Verry bad plan google catching wild hives U tube showes a way to catch them. once a bee tree always a bee tree catch them next year probly another hive can BEE had.

Terrible dry and windy around here. My honey hole hasn't popped yet. Maybe today is the day. Got some sprinkles.......I guess Walleye Joe found some back East.

Terrible dry and windy around here. My honey hole hasn't popped yet. Maybe today is the day. Got some sprinkles.......I guess Walleye Joe found some back East. Found 23 yesterday! Fried 'em up and ate them too! Delicious!!! We're expected to get temperatures down into the mid 20's tonight. It has been a little dry and windy here too. I got about .1" of rain last evening. Too bad it isn't going to stay warm. Just another setback.

I found 8 last night and they were on the dry side. Washed them up and they seemed to hydrate some.

Finding a few. Enough that we can eat them every night. Some of my old hot spots have done nothing. Been chilly, sunny and dry.

I been hearing about people finding mushrooms. We were dry till last week and now its cold. Rain on and off all week. Do you think warm is more important than wet or it takes both???
