simple bait making for beginners
start with easy bait formulas two of the best bases you can start out with is cooked white rice (then run threw blender)or fruit paste.these ingredents will take on any odor you want with out hurting your formula, you can add oils like cherry oil, atomic apple,,cinamon or anise oil. these single ingredents can turn your base in to a top notch bait. some of these ingredents will work on beaver like atomic apple, cinamon oil,and anise while these same ingredents will also work on coon as well.the cherry oil will work on rats, coon and beaver .the ground cinamon works on canines and coon when mixed in a fruit paste or ground up fish.

Hoosier Trapper Supply has a great selection of oils and scents for lure and bait making. I just placed an order last week, should be here today! time to get busy.
