DH could you tell me if its ok to flag with feathers for bobcat in MO. Cant find it anywhere in the book or MDC website

We have had this discussion before. As I recall all feathers are ok except for song birds and endangered species. So chicken turkey and some if not all ducks and geese can be used.

YES!!!! You are allowed to "FLAG" with feathers. Just as long as they are "legally acquired" feathers.

I like to use dove or turky just use the ones that I shoot its alot cheaper Than buying a feather pillow lol and funner.

You can buy them pretty cheap and in bulk at all your favorite craft stores. Any color you want!

I think its neat to use what you have worked for already insead of putting more money into the stores and stuff.

Turkey Feathers are great as well. You can go down 1/4" from the tip and cut out A hole, then put your Lure in it.Keeps the Lure out of the Weather as well..Then Hang above Trap...

good tip goot, when i get to the end of a bottle of lure i swish a feather around it to get the last of it and hang it. i usually hang em with fishing line with a swivel in it.
