Most of the trappers who participate on this site seem to be folks of faith, so I decided to put this board up for those who may need prayers, or any sort of spirital uplifting. Feel free to share your problems here. This should keep the prayer requests from getting buried on the Chat board.

Don't drink and drive
Use seat belts
Don't speed
Always obey the posted speed limit (it's the limit, it doesn't mean you have to go that fast)
Adjust speed according to driving condition (see above)
Use MANDATORY signalling devices (electric/hand)
Obey all road signs
Stop at ALL rail road crossings( no matter how big, and bad-ass you think you are, you can never beat a train)
Pull over to the opposite lane AND/OR slow down when emergency vehicles are on the road/shoulder

Here is one of my fave songs from back when I found an old vinyl when I was a kid about 9 years old and listened to this Phil Harris' album a zillion times. He pretty well summed up the reason a good holy man needs to pray. I found the original song he used to sing. That song made me think of my Grandfather. My mother, aunts & uncles told when they were little, he'd get on the floor, mess his hair up and sing that song pretending to be the bear, while scaring & chasing them around the room. The tried to get him to sing it for us & my cousins but he could't remember much of it. Brings back fond memories of him!
