I will have a chance to meet all the local liars, cheaters, gunslingers, trappers, and hound dog lovers in two hours. What a treat!
I cannot wait to see the pelt of the 80 pound cat!! I assume it will weigh at least 10 pounds! Ha!

I was told that story over a year ago and the cat has still not shown up. I would have given $40 for it even if it was ugly! I have seen a few 35 pounders but a 25 pounder looks huge if it is healthy!
This Friday, the 22nd will be my last scheduled and annnounced trip to the Bluff this year. If I go down again, it will be to meet specific people but not at the Sale Barn.
I will be at the sale barn this Friday from 8-10 or leave earlier if the truck fills up and/or the cash runs out!
I bet it ain''t as cold as last time on the 8th. that was nippy!!

I was talked into going down to Poplar Bluff to buy furs on Friday, Feb. 12th for one last visit this season. A lot of folks do not want to make the long drive up the the Shed. I will be at the Sale Barn area from 8:00 - 10:00. See you then.

Yeah, I buy grinners, but can't say they half helped out the old IRA much! I usually pay $1 for a skinned one. I keep all of the grinners I catch, but I prefer to use what I harvest. Let me know if you have any more questions. Thanks!

I will get there around 8 and be gone by 9:30 or so. There will be a bonfire but probably no shine unless some old timer brings a jug! Ha!
Last time was a lot of fun!
This will be the second of five visits to the famous SALE BARN! Quite a hoot if you haven't ever been there!
