skinning knife ever lost that razor sharp edge when you really needed it and cant find a sharpener? roll your truck or car window down (on the rolled top edge) and place your blade angle flat with the cutting edge like you are going to slice a sliver of widow off and pull it towards you, turn it over and slide the blade away from you. do this about 10 to 15 passes and if you had a good flat edge to your knife, it should be razor sharp. ive done this and shaved the hair off my arm! hope its works for you!! you can use the back of another knife. it's almost the same effect as if you use a steel.
