Popped the top on the meat that has been aging all yr. WOW this will definitely get them canines to roll LOL!! So i had to start adding all the goodies to it to tone it down and get the aroma i am after. Well i got to mixing and got over ambitious and splashed it on me. OH MY this stink will stick with you thats for sure. But i finally got it all mixed up. Now it needs to set for 30 days to get every thing bonded then it will be ready. But i am sitting here typing this and the smell is stuck in my nose. LOL

You have to admit, dh, that even though those trapping smells are loud and rank, we trappers love to smell them. I don't know about you, but whenever I pass a road killed skunk, that smell of essence doesn't offend me at all. Instead, it triggers nostalgic thoughts of past trapping experiences. I like to go out in the shed once in a while, open bottles of stuff that's "cooking off," and take a whiff just to see how it's coming along. I think trappers are every bit as much of suckers for lure smells as the critters we pursue. LOL

LMAO!! I drive by a dead skunk i carry a syringe for those occasions and if he is tore up to bad i am trying to figure out how to salvage it. LOL I cant get enough of trapping its on my mind 24-7. I live for the time on the line and the moments most would hate. Trappers just arnt right. The smells of the lure the getting muddy and wet. Not to mention frozen on occasions. Its a great life. And i wouldnt trade it for the world.

Too cool DH! You know they say a person's memory is most easily triggered by smells than by sight or sound. If you're a trapper, and it stinks, great memories!

LOL Too funny, I have been doing this once a week for the past 2 months with my fox glands. i can't keep away from it! One night i atually got out of bed and went out for a smoke & the first thing i thought of was sniffing at them! im thinking they will "work" just fine on my line next year.LOL
