Feels like summertime

Temps are supposed to be from the mid-80's to mid-90's next week. Looks like the heat wave is starting.

Yep. I don't mind the heat so much. It's the doggone humidity that tears me up. And it's already getting dry around my place with only a few days of scattered or isolated rain in the next 10 days.

Muggy here. We got 1 1/2 inches of rain a couple days ago. Already warmed up before the dew gets off the grass so I can mow.

Calling for 4-5 day's of 100 deg temps next week! I so don't need that.

I mowed grass 2 days ago. Had the blades set to as low as it would go. My "to do" list outside is going to be in the mornings. Watered the garden after the sun went down. Got everything in containers again this year. I like the fact that there's very little weeding that has to be done, but have to water more often.

Had to water a few plants. Our air conditioner is out! Compresser blew and they replaced under warranty. Then they found the reverse valve was bad and Lennox is dragging their feet on a replacement. Long story short, its been old fashioned around the house with windows open and fans running. Late afternoon it is hard to keep cool but after midnight, that breeze is almost chilly.
