Hope all are safe with the storms the last couple days. 6 1/2 inches of rain here this week and still raining. Ponds and lakes filled and some pouring over. Roads and fields have washed gullies in them now. Went from powder dry to this.

Boy howdy. At 8pm Saturday, the weather man zoomed map up to our township and pointed right at our house and said theres a tornadic front right here with a dangerous rotation starting. My wife said she would feel better in the basement. I said I would come down but let me grab a beer first. We stayed thee about 20 minutes until it calmed down. It was raining sideways with over 50 mph winds. My dog never tries to escape his pen but he got out and came to the back door. The wife gave him a dry blanket to lay on and he stayed right there. I was down in SE kansas Friday and saturday and we had tornados north and south of us. The bees were mad as hell and the wind blew scary hard both days. Not much rain down there. I tell people I talk to at work from other states that we get all our precipitation through tornados and hail. My new pond I built a year ago (that has been empty) is full with water coming out the spillway pipe. I left a cooler outside and it is full. Logs laying in the middle of the road. Time to go fishing. So I am okay. I dont get on the internet when I am at the farm. Just as well as there is no signal out there.

Rained last night with strong winds. Got puddles in the yard and water rushing down the driveway like a river. Not a lot of thunder and lightning just a downpour of rain.

I worked in Trenton Monday. Walking across the grass there was water squishing up over my boots in places. The cricks in the area were down but you could see where they had been flooded.
