I've been fighting health problems and my son put up 5 of my otters for me but when I was looking at them today .I realized he cut inspection windows , like you would a raccoon . Will this hurt the value of the pelt.

Man I'm about to get sick. LoL . Oh well I guess I should have done it myself. Last year he did real good, this year he did great on the fleshing part, just put windows in and yeah there probably to big.

Yeah up to the pecker hole. Should I just throw them in my pit now. Man I feel sick but my son really feels bad. I told him stuff happens and it wasn't a big deal but he said he knows how hard it was to catch them, cause he went when ever he could so he does know what went in to catching them.. LoL.

Wouldn't throw them away, they still have value. Prices have came up on otter this season.

Somebody might want them for tanning. I wouldnt go hard on the kid. He did better than mine would have.

It's an honest mistake he'll likely never make again. He's doing his best to help out Dad which speaks highly of the way you brought him up. Wish more kids were like that.

Well I just watched a YouTube video of a guy selling otters to Derick Peterman. I think that was the name. Anyways the windows on his otters wasn't much smaller if not darn near the same size so now I have a little better hope. LoL
