What's the difference between regular and magnum duke 330s is it the springs.

It's the bend in the jaws allowing for complete closer

I always wondered how a 330 would work if a guy removed one spring. I think it would hold a beaver just not be as fast.

krank, I've had beaver get out of a 330 a couple times after leaving safety on one spring. This was on non closure type bogygrips. I think both springs delivering energy in the blow is what makes the kill.

I do think the full closure traps are better for otter.
