Set for the problem beavers a couple days ago and had 2 coon end up in the sets. Set two more body grips closer to the feed pile and both were pushed full of sticks. Set a couple snares today so we'll see what tomorrow brings.
Saw the landowner and he told me the other fella had the same problem with this beaver. What the heck! He never told me these beaver had been messed with so now I know the deal! I'd say the beaver is square shy so we'll see if the snares do the trick. Hate it when you don't know the whole story.

Maybe he had other trappers turn down the job after they learned they had been messed with already.
