Sure wouldn't know this is a trapping site with the lack of activity on here. I'm waiting till after Thanksgiven before I set anything. Got some problem beaver that need dealt with.

yes I agree with you John where did everyone go Dale hasn't been on here for every sounds like some fur will be worth trapping so lets get with it .

I got my truck loaded and Wheeler now just waiting on deer season to get over. I just picked up 1000 acres. It looks good for otters and cat's.

I got started yesterday. Put up some coon today that looked very good. I assume coon up here are ahead of yours.
Anyway, go get em' fellas.

Sounds like my first order of business is to get the coon that has been crapping on my lumber pile behind the barn. Will fan out from there. I always set on Black Friday while all the idiots are in the retail stores. I need the daylight to make the sets and check in the dark all week.

Man this season is just getting better, picked up another 1200 . I Saw this place back when the rats was 8-10 bucks and it had about 40 huts on it right next to a river. Full of otters and quite a few beavers i guess. Short story Short it's a trappers paradise. And one of my friends just bought it a week ago. Only problem is I don't have enough traps for all my spots. LoL.

Can't wait for the morning, I drove by my new spot and walked up the little leve and there is a big ole lodge right in the middle of the Marsh and it has a heck of a feed pile. There's about 15 huts that I could see but there's a bigger marsh behind this one so hard to tell from where I was. Come on morning. LoL 😂🤣

walkadog, my wife suffers with that diabetes also. It seems to flair up at the most inconvenient times.

I ran some CRs around the place and no luck. I took them all down after the weekend because I cant check during the week. Caught a coon in a live trap with lousy pelt. I am off between Christmas and New years so maybe something will give. Not like ten years ago when I was on the road at 5 am and out in the shed till 9 pm.

Getting myself and a beaver up the banks is a real chore anymore. Throw the beaver up 2 feet and take 2 steps over and over lol Dang I need me a helper ! |

It's fairly simple to understand. Prices are ridiculous so I am just getting out and piddling to be outdoors. Can't believe guys that go to the shopping mall and watch TV while season is on.
Another issue is I have like a mild hernia and am hoping it will heal up on its own. It happened 5 years ago and went away and it came back in November. With that said, I am taking it semi-easy and it appears to be going away.

I was hoping to get a few bobcat but so far no luck. Caught a couple of coyotes. One was just ate up with mange. Haven't set anything in the water yet. I need to get after the beaver but the lake I planned on trapping doesn't have any sign at all.
