Had a puppy show up at the house Monday. Someone had dumped it. Pissed me off because it really was a cute one, looked like it had a lot of German Shepard in it. It was starved and thirsty. Friendly little guy. Lucked out and found a guy my son works with to give him a home. He has two kids and they are thrilled to have a new puppy. Plan B was to keep it if we couldn't find it a home. Don't need another dog but I couldn't just let it starve.

When I lived at the other house, people were always dumping dogs and cats. I guess we were right off the hiway so it was convenient. People that do that are scumbags. They could have just dumped at the dog pound.

Pounds around here are full. Much more humane to put them down than release them in the wild to starve to death or die of disease.

The old neighbor at the old house took in all the dumped puppies. He had 20 dogs loaded with mange and worms. One by one they died or wandered off or had bad things happen to them.
