In 2020 they found a spot on her kidney and have been watching it. Well it has started to grow and the location means they'll have to take her kidney. Wasn't suppose to happen until August but a cancellation has moved it up to June 27th.
She has a whole lot of health issues which makes this surgery touchy. It's going to be done with the use of robotics, which makes it a little better.
TIA

Prayers to you and your wife. I completely understand what it's like to have a spouse with health issues. Let us know how the surgery goes.

Thanks for the thoughts and prayers fellas. The wife came through the surgery fine and now it'll just be a matter of healing. They are keeping an eye on her pain management and breathing(one of the many health problems she has).
Again thanks for the thoughts and prayers.

Update: Wife is home now and resting. As you that have Afib and on blood thinners know that before surgery you have to stop taking them. Well she ended up having a mild stroke the day after surgery. She has regained almost all of the mild lost functions ,restarted her blood thinners , but needs to be mindful of any signs of another.

Kinda bad news but sounds like she is back on track. You have to remind those doctors about medications. My doctor gave me some stuff I didnt need and it raised my BP to 190/100 so I called him and told him the two meds didnt mix. He said he didnt know that. How did I know then? I read.... Well, I shall continue to keep her in thoughts and prayers.

John-Me and you are tough and can tell the doc to buzz off but your wife needs to do whatever they say. Still hoping and praying.

My ex-aunt-in law was a pharmacist, and she said numerous times that she had to call the doc to correct his mistakes. Kind of makes you wonder!

Agree tick, one doctor prescribes the wife something then another takes her off it. Really don't know which to believe.
