I've been trying to find batteries for my cassette caller but haven't had any luck yet so I bought one of the new Johnny Stewart Grim Speaker callers. It doesn't seem like it's loud enough. Has anyone here used one?

Nope, my Johnny Stewart is 50 years old and doesn't put out any sound at all. Is your caller as loud as a real live animal?

Well, considering I'm deaf I. One ear & can't hardly hear out of the other, i really don't know.

A rabbit in distress is not a call that is meant to be loud. A greeting call of a coyote can be louder than normal.
