I'll pop up least one of those days. Maybe more if someone else goes with me. I don't need anything, but I never been to that particular circus and it will never be this close again. Are you guys charging admission or will the gate be open to encourage attendance by non members?

Travis, they charge a gate admission. $10 for 1 day or $20 for all 3 days. You can go to the NTA site and they have all the particulars.

I see, 10/hour for an opportunity to spend money, might just make me go fishin instead. imo, the vendors want me there they should cover the gate, maybe that's why I haven't been to one before. Have to rethink that trip, thanks for the invite. so, that's a maybe... I'd like to see O'Hearn's and Steck's demos Fri. and Clay's Sat., but really the only attraction is the carnival stuff with all the sales people. I had thought about camping but they never did publish the cost of that, it must be outrageous.

I will be there Tues. setting up the tailgaters area and signing them areas as they show up thru Wed. After that whatever needs to be done. Have to wonder how bad the floods are going to impact the numbers of folks attending.

If you guys don't go, whose going to keep my from buying a bunch of crap I don't need? J/K The size of your truck should limit you if your wallet doesn't. I can't think of a single thing that I need from those vendors, but I'm sure that if I went I'd drop $50-100 with them plus gas and eats. I can drive to the Trout Park in half the time and fish for free in the lower end or fish the main area for $3. Pee for free.

It's a two hour blast from here so I might just buzz down Saturday if it is murdering hot. Can you bring traps and sell them?

They'll have tailgaters there for sure, but I couldn't find any mention on the website www.nationaltrappers.com/convention.htmlI imagine there is a fee schedule for entry and parking. Ask Vicky, she's the head coordinator. Just about 2 hours for me too, and I'd been looking forward to this since it was brought up at spring meeting a couple years ago. The drive up isn't bad , but riding home after might be.

A lady just bought a bottle of vodka for $9k at the Saturday evening auction here at the convention. I’m now trying to get her to adopt me. Jk.
