The half out snare is a good deal. Robert mentioned about bigger conis on dry land (180s?) I think the MDOC does look to the MTA for advice and a public voice. I think part of the frustration is that a lot of trappers want their voice heard but they are not part of the group. I think visibility and communication is the key along with paying dues and attending meetings.

I haven't heard of anyone requesting it through the rules and reg , Mike.
We tried to get the bodygrips 1/2 out for quite a while. When Clay Creech did his presentation it was finally past and actually was fast tracked.
Clay and Daryl Dameron went to the board with these new request and are very confident the first two be approved.
Some mentioned that MDC employees could have a conflict of interest when holding office in the MTA. To this I call BS. You couldn't find any members more pro trapping and pro MTA than the members we have that are also MDC employees.
