Beavertail Oil

I have kept some beavertails this season, and will attempt to make beavertail oil this summer.  How is beavertail oil used at a set, and what sets would be recommended?  Thanks for any/all feedback.

Im buying big good tails. Sell your better tails and use your small tails for Oil.

Im paying $1- $2.50 for 4"x 9" tails and larger depending on size and grade. Must be leather quality. Fresh frozen.
Im located in Memphis MO when not trapping out of state which is almost continously until mid May.
You may bring your tails to the FTA convention as well. I will be buying at the convention.
