Got a dock that has rats everywhere the guy says. What is a good bait or lure that's not attractive to ducks or other pesky non-targets?

Yup....need a scent as bait will draw the ducks. Don't overlook underwater blind sets.

Set up rafts. Weigh the traps so they will sink any ducks you catch. Simple.

I have a deal going on with a lake in the middle of town. Owner cant sleep at night because he saw a muskrat. Surrounded by chain link fence with rip rap on the bank. Sad to say, I am going to use rafts and live traps on it. Reason being there are no trails or burrows visible. I can blind set the rip rap and just use a weight for the coni. Drop it between two rocks and it is going nowhere. Back when cordlesses were first invented, I used to screw traps to culvert pipes. I could tap-con to a rock. I don't expect a struggle in a BG.
