It was difficult to find one last season and a few of the larger buyers didn't buy due to so many in their storage freezers. Some closed their doors for good! I will wait a while to see if more renew their buyers license before I post an updated list of MO Fur Dealers.

FFG magazine says now is the time to get your permits & learn to buy. I've seriously thought about it. I know several around here that would utilize me but I just don't know...

You'll hate it. You'll be broke all the time. Your WIFE will hate it. Plus, given the current Political situation and a very unpredictable future with national and world wide economics...
How many fur buyers? Three.

Buy only pale silky coyote, wide bellied much spotted cats, fisher and wolverine and you may do OK. I've seen many truck loads of carcass animals dumper in the driveway at the furbuyers place. Like going to the casino bring only the money you don't need to take home. Marc, November is soon enough to post up the list. 11

Loren will haul a pickup load couple times a week some years to his farm. Hardly ever go there that there aren't some blue or shotgunned coons or coons with little under fur or black possums or half haired coyotes scattered in his drive. People that don't skin or put up fur often think any wild animal is valuable and most of the road kill ends up there. When the fur prices dropped in '86, I one day saw 17 coyotes in his drive. He's not always at home or at the shop and some people just drop stuff, I guess thinking he might want it.
