Thought everybody was invited . I am sure it was under water but they make their living doing that so I am sure they cleaned up. They also have a black powder rendesvous there sometime . Heard someone bringing chili .i have never seen anyone go hungry at one .

I believe they're having Chili one night and Spaghetti the other. I'm sure someone is fixing breakfast as well. I can't make it this year. You boys and girls have fun. Post pics too!

Drive 3 hours each way in August in Mo.? Guess not this year, it'd involve crossin District lines and, I already committed to mowing the lawn that weekend. Maybe pet my beaver a bit.

I'm crossing district lines. Dist 6 has been good to me in the past. However, I am a free trapper and owe no alliances to anyone but my land owners.

I just posted something about it on the main chat thread and the district events. I hadn't seen this one yet. lol coming up fast folks august 28,29 and 30. 5th annual dist. 6/trapboard.com campout. Come on out to little niangua camp ground and enjoy the weekend of camping,trapping demos, and eating. Bring a dish or two of your liking and a want to learn a little about this great outdoor activity we call trapping. campsites range from primitive to r.v. to cabins. go to www.gorvcamping.com or call 855-646-2267 for info and to make reservations. South of 7 highway or north of 54 highway, north side of the Little Niangua River. District 6 meeting on Saturday the 29th at 1pm.

Do we have to reserve or can we primitive camp at no cost like last year? Can someone or several please bring beaver demo stuff? Really wanting to learn basic sets etc.

They are like $50 with no running water but they have electricity. Theres a shower house up by the office. You need to reserve a cabin but just show up for primitive. Last year I brought a tent but just stretched out in the cab of the Silverado and slept like a babe.....
