I just got back from my monthly visit to the Doc in Lees Summit, and we took the opportunity to stop over at Pleasant Hill and see Bob and Alice. A lot of you folks have never met these two. Bob is an old trapper, MTA Hall of Famer and Past-President, and he and Alice make quite a team.
Bob is also, as of now, a Cancer Survivor. As of last Friday, a bad spot on a lung (that just about did him in) is officially in remission. Talk about a turn-around... Anyway, Bob is no quitter. He said this thing wasn't going to whup him, and his positive thinking shows. He looked amazing!
He plans on attending the spring meeting. Do yourselves a favor and visit with him. Shake his hand. He's one of the tough ones for sure.

Yup, I was surprised to see how good he looked at the fur sale and in such good spirits. The chemo took a lot out of him but he's like a Timex watch, "takes a lickin and keeps on ticking".
