I'm kind of wondering how long those furs had been in that trailer. When I sold mine, he had a pretty good load inside it, plus what looked like a bunch of cow hides, etc in the bed of the truck, it was loaded up to the top of the bed. Kearney was his first stop, and while I was there, someone asked how many pelts he had on there & he said about 1,500. I was thinking what was on there was from the day before, or possibly even 2 days worth. The guy that sold before me had sever coons that hadn't been skinned, & I'm pretty sure there were a bunch more on there. I imagine by the time they unloaded it was starting to get pretty ripe in there!

Sold to Doren Miller Friday - all green 20 coon, $7 tops, averaged $4.10 2 muskrat, $4 each 3 beaver, $8.30 average, nothing real big 1 red fox, $15 1 coyote, $25, that is not what he is giving this year but he really liked this one 1 bobcat, $40, not trapped, shot in side, froze whole
As normal, I was treated fair by Doren and we had a good time.

Mr. Miller is a good man. He really helped me out a lot last year by showing me a few tricks. Once I get all my fur put up I'll be giving him a call. I'd been wondering if anybody had sold to him and kinda curious as to the prices.

All my fur is put up. I find about as much fun in finishing fur as I do in catching it. I live in Lincoln County between Troy and winfield so it's only about a 30 minute ride to Millers. I also like his shop.

Thieves..... or Masked bandits buying masked bandits? That's pitiful! I have 2000 masked bandits in the freezer that are anybodies who wants them for $3.25 each. No smalls, rubs, nursing sows, damaged or small ones. Those went into the $0 pile and back into the trappers truck! Some XXXX, lots of XXX and XX and a few L. Prime and fat. Wish some masked bandit would drive in with a trailer and $6000!!
