Hello all,
I’ve been lurking around this board for several years and have learned a wealth of information but this is my first time posting.
I have a chance to pick up some well taken care of Montgomery dogless #2’s. I was also considering just buying new Bridger dogless #2’s.
In your opinion which is the better trap?

Welcome.
Man. The old Monties are great traps. But the Bridgers have some improvements. Most of the time the Monties bring really good money, so...? You will be happy with either- if you are new to trap adjusting the Monties take some English to get right, sometimes.

Im not sure what you mean by high lever or low lever Thanks for the responses. The trap on the left (1.5 Northwoods) is a high lever coilspring. Notice how high the levers rest on the jaws. The trap on the right (1.5 Montgomery) is a low lever coilspring. Notice how low the levers rest on the jaws.
