oh and the rock and stick there near him is my dirt hole. caught a fox there the day before.

If the rock is your backing, it is fine for fox, but to big for coyotes.
You kept that coyote back with that big backing....

I use quite a bit of blocking and manage a coyote or two...........the catch circle and smells may have contributed more to him being timid....you may want to look into a little of subtle quiding .

It is funny on backing I had some body comment the backing was too high on the set, which if you notice is a walk-thru.....quess the coyotes didn't consider it too high as this was after the remake from the fourth coyote taken here

I like looking at pic's of your sets Cletis, they are all so,,,so,,, oh what am I trying to say here.... So picture perfect trapping weather sets. Nice dry dirt everywhere... and they are some pretty sets too...

Congratulations , any pics.....did you make a new set off to the side of the catch circle? That new set sometimes will score before the original remade set will.

That new set sometimes will score before the original remade set will. no there was blood all over the neighbors pit bulls came over and attacked it... needless to say I wasn't happy. I do have pics. I haven't had a chance to post yet. And yesterday I got my first grey fox. I love these mb550's
