My daughter bought a silver fox pelt from glacier wear and half the tail has fallen off. I sewed it back but from the fragility of the hide I don't think it's going to do much good. Any suggestions?

Worst thing that could happen. I tanned a grey fox and years later the tail broke. I stitched it back on but it was turned the wrong way. Finally used a drop of super glue and told everybody not to touch it. Looks ok.
