One night at dark, me and the neighbor heard a cat screaming in the timber. My beagle took off after it and I never saw the dog again. The neighbor found his colt hanging 15 ft off the ground in a tree all tore up. That might have been aliens though.

Too much beer makes LOTS of things happen at night. Now, please take the Alien stuff to the Alien thread. Take the Bigfoot/Sasquatch/MOMO/Li'l dudes in Cowboy hats to the appropriate Bigfoot thread. Thank you.
Back to the cat stories.

Always heard wild tails about black panthers (4 legged) My brother talked about seeing a black panther on the Blue River. One night I pulled into Minor park in KC. It was along the Blue River. I had a girl with me and was looking for a place to park. There was a black panther laying on top a dumpster whipping its tail. We sat there in the car about 50 yds from it with headlights on it and it slithered down and was gone. I thought it was cool and the girl wanted to leave immediately. I told her it was gone and wouldn't be back but no dice. We left and I took her home. We always thought they escaped from the KC Zoo which was down stream.

Robbie, do you know more about the sage? I can't get it to grow here, thought maybe too much rain, but it might be some other reason.
Bet the MDC was building habitat for rattlers, they like to sun themselves in the top of those large sage.

Bet the MDC was building habitat for rattlers, they like to sun themselves in the top of those large sage. Trevis, the MDC is just now finding out that mid Missouri's climate is too wet for sage. Here in the last three years though, because of the drought, it has been flourishing. Now the federal government, in conjunction with NASA, is working to manipulate and alter our climate here by use of satellites and massive receiver dishes in the remote areas up in Alaska. This is also supposed to reduce the risk of tornado's in the Midwest. You are correct about it being for eastern diamondback rattlesnake habitat. After the elections in 2016, MDC will be having the U.S. Air Force drop eastern diamondbacks, transferred from Pennsylvania, with a joint effort from military helicopters, drones, and the Air Force One. In exchange for their rattle snakes, we will be giving them some of our mountain lions, which have become overpopulated here in central Missouri. This joint effort will help in the progress of Armageddon that is about to come. I hope this will help you with your own do-it-yourself project.

I have a lot to share on these topics. Oh, BTW, the reason my avatar looks like it does is because I was once abducted by aliens one night while mountain lion hunting up in Fayette. I was an experiment to them and they took DNA from ancient Orientals, aliens from 24 light-years away, a vampire bat, and Davey Crocket's great, great, great and a half grandfather. When I was brought back, this is how I have looked every since. I never went mountain lion hunting again. Robbie

Oops. Forgot to START the Alien and Bigfoot threads. Luckily ya'll can take care of yourselves.
The only thing that I know about Missouri Sagebrush is that some of ya'll seem to be smokin' it...
And finally- notice how krank said he was looking for a place to park, with a GIRL. Glad he made that clear. I'll sure be glad when trappin' season rolls around.

Thanks Robbie for the info on MDC's sagebrush plantation. Guess I was wrong about the snakes though, I was thinking them big ole western Diamondbacks from Utah/Nevada. Always under the impression that Easterns perfered river cane.
I'm going for soil admendments, thinking equal parts Borax, Sulfer and silica.
