Shotgunned coons are usually graded as damaged by most all furbuyers.

Number 5 is great I recently found out one shot 410 imp 25 yards dropped dead normally don't use shot gun but discovered this load works by accident I won't get into it very embarrassing but probably very funny

Never shot a coon with #5 but do prefur it over #6's for tree rats, if I cant use a 22

There are several CA that are shotgun only, Don. You get close to KC or St. Louis and they tend to frown on single projectials. Too many houses and people close by.

I use a shot gun on coon sometimes. And just as long as ur back 20 or 30 yards the damage isn't to bad. Especially if u sell them green. Put up may be different. Cause holes be visible. But if ur gonna use shotgun on coon stick with steel shot. BB,BBB,or T shot lot fewer pellets for fewer holes and steel doesn't deform like lead so not as much damage.
