don't know walleye, just always stretched after fleshed. 5ish days for my setup on drying..

Was told it's a bad idea to freeze after fleshing. Was told it will freezer burn on you.

Reason I asked is... all 6 of my boards are being used and I know some are not ready to come off.

The only way I'd do it is to vacum seal them.They freezer burn if you don't.Better off just freeze now and flesh later.

Thanks John. That's kinda what I thought. Guess I'll just freeze enough to get me by. I'm planning to make a few of my own stretcher boards from some softwood pallets here at work sometime soon.

Skin them and freeze them. No need to vacum seal, aint like their gonna be in there for 6 months. I have never had a prob with them being in a walmart bag or a trash bag for a week or two.
