I used some of the Dukes and for the money, aren't bad.Strong springs but their safties suck.Didn't matter as I make new safties for all my body grippers.I haven't used the Bridger Magnums yet,but plan to this year. They are only about $1.00 higher per trap than the Dukes.

Belisles. Best for ANY money. Look, your beaver will bring $20-40, right? Do the math. And the one $100+ otter that DOESN'T get away from the "Killer-B's" will make it just that much better.

watch the dukes they have only a 9x10 opining and the others a 10x10 and its hard to find a stand to work with the belisles but its the best trap but where theft is a issue id use the cheaper traps i have used all types of connies and they have all worked they all got good and bad if ya look hard enough

I never had a problem with my Dukes, besides bent springs and a safety. Im trying to make the decision between Belisle and Duke magnums. So many options but not enough cash lol.

Are the mags noticeably different from the regulars?

I/we run about half Dukes an the rest varied even old 330-1's. havent had a problem with Dukes and beaver. Alot depends on trigger arrangement too. For the money Dukes work for us. As we lose 330's thru attrition or expand our lines we buy Duke 330's more and more.

Im poor, so when I buy NEW 330s its standard jaw Dukes. But I snatch up the old victors when I get a good deal on them. Tom Olson has good springs for cheap if needed. A minute or two on the any coni trigger/dog gives me neck catches *almost everytime*, even on otter.
