I don't have the time, or space to get a lightweight wire feed welder and all the trimmings and learn thru trial and error to make it worth my time. So.. that said, anyone out there, that would modify and do some light welding on about a dozen older Victor 1.75's.... Bubble the jaw ends, tack the pan attachment, maybe add some base plate nails or lam the jaws.... Have NO idea what it would run $, just wanted to throw this out there and see what constructive ideas abound.

I agree with gunsmoke or Cletis either one.They both do topnotch work.I'd rather a trapper do it than a non-trapper,cause they'll know what you actually need and take the extra care to give it to you.

I am a lousey welder. I can weld but it aint pretty. I do have a machinist background. One thing I do if its an important weld is I cut all the pieces and prepare the metal and take it to my buddy and say "Hit it there and there". Gunsmoke is a good mod guy. So is creek runner.
