The pre-sale valuations on bobcats is way off from last year. Everything is else is good though!
Pre-sale valuations do not mean much though.....
My southern greys are valued at $39.50!!
Missouri coons are on track to do a $30+ average.
Southern coons (Mississippi and Alabama) are pre-sale valued at $17.50. (Knew the market was strong so shipped some damaged coon that normally would have been pitched)
Hopefully the stock market doesn't tank and war doesn't break out until the auction is over!

Regarding Milk Stains, If the belly fur was long and not thin or bare around nipples (release those cats like that) then it could still bring $150 if 1-2 or 2-3 belly caught late dec to end Jan

I got my lotting stuff, but don't know where to find the grading explanations... where can I find it? When you open their website click on "WILD FUR", when that opens then click on "RESOURCES". That will open up the explanation on the grading of all the critters. They are PDF files.

I have a North Central cat and 2 South Western cats, I hope they do good. The low clarity number is always an added plus.

(Knew the market was strong so shipped some damaged coon that normally would have been pitched) Hopefully the stock market doesn't tank and war doesn't break out until the auction is over! Don't need to worry about stock market for a while yet! I sent more fur to nafa this year and will soon know if it was a wise decision. The lotting prices range from $40 down to .10 (ten cents!!) for the coons. 2901 coon at this sale and the average they are saying will be around 16. Hopefully the large number of .10 to 5.00 coon will bring more at the auction. Beaver is the other disappointment. Range is from $60 down to $1.00!Lots of low priced beavers pull my average below $20. I paid $5 to have them scrpaed and stretched so it is obvious beaver won't be a huge deal for me this auction unless they bring more than the lotting letter says. Rats, greys, few reds look good. Yotes are down for about a $23 average but I had topay to have them finished so, once again, not much to brag about. I can see why the big buyers who go to nafa grade the piss out of the furs and don't want the smaller and damaged stuff, now!! I only sent two pretty nice cats this time and the initial offering is 100 for one and 10 for one. They called it flat and damaged but I remember the two cats. I sent my flat, damaged cats to a friend to tan and sell. Our fur does not sell until June 1-3. Hope we all do really well up there and it all sells! I promised my young lady a new dress after it sold!!

Do you have to be a fur buyer to see the Pre-sale valuations cause I can not find it on the Nafa site any where ? No,everybody gets them. Not sure why you do not see them. Mine suck so I ain'tdoing any dancing and wish I had sold my coons and beavers to the big buyer who yelled at me all season and told me I was a dumbass for selling at nafa! haha! The lotting prices are only predictions and have nevr been accurate. I just hope a lot of the fur is not "bought back"which is a fancy way of saying it did not sell. Glad this business is an expensive hobby and not my career or I would be in deep doo doo! Guess I will know the facts on June 4th! No big deal! I have learned to keep my eggs in a lot of different baskets!!

I just got a pre-sale value on my cat that went western 249554 (semi heavy), $400. Was thinking $500 based on Feb levels so this makes sense. Either way will be my highest valued Mo cat ever.

Only available to those who send tons of fur (dealer or trapper) and only on lots you own, not all lots.

I believe mine were very nice quality, but yours were nice as well, I hope they bring more at NAFA , or I won't sell there in the future !!! I know I did a nice job on your coon , however 2500 coon is a big number and I'm convinced no matter what they say , buyers get a harsher grade than trappers !!! Good luck my good friend !!!
