folks I would like to ask you to please put Bob Whitworth in your prayers Bob has had a lot of trouble breathing of late he has gone through a lot of test and was told this week that he has a tumor on his lung and it is cancer he is going to have radiation to see if they can get the cancer Bob has a good attitude but he is going to need a lot of prayers. to whip this on behalf of Bob I want to THANK YOU PAUL

A friend of mine that helps Bob some on his fur and trapline had told me before the fur auction that Bob had been having some issues and probably wouldn't make the auction.Imagine my supprise when I saw him there! I asked him about it and his reply was "I ain't dead yet!".Tough ol bird indeed.I'll be a praying for him and really hate to hear this latest news.

Talked with a buddy of mine that hangs with Bob today.He said Bob was in good spirits and isn't letting it slow him down much.He has to carry an oxygen tank with him. He's a tough ol bird.

Bob has taken two radiation treatments he has ten more to go he says its a piece of cake but it is making him tired. will keep you posted

He made it- looked GREAT. And better yet, he teamed up as usual with Brian and they won the washer tournament. Really cool. An "old man and a cripple".

talk to bob last night the doc. report was not as good as we had hope the cancer is still there but has not got bigger the doc. wants to wait three months then take another ct. and see if it is the same or gotten bigger then decide what to next. please keep my friend in your prayers

Talked with Bob alittle at the rondy.He has gotten thinner but still good spirits.Still got that twinkle in his eyes.

Yes he does. Men like Bob are few and far between these days. I was glad to see my old friend. It did me good when he came looking for me when he heard I was at the rondy. Let me know I still have a few old friends around. It was good to see him in such good spirits as well.
I know a couple of people thought I should have stopped talking with the "Old Man" on the UTV and came and dealt with them. It's probably a good thing I didn't hear about it until they had left as they would have gotten told how that "Old Man" is part of the reason there is an MTA to have a rondy for you to attend and you better learn some respect for your elders , but I probably wouldn't have been real nice about it when I did it.
