Our state would have lots of dots plus this map is only the registered handguns. When I see this map it makes me feel very safe When I used to teach public school all the coaches had to be certified in cpr and if anyone had a problem there was someone nearby to jump in and help. I think all schools need to have certain faculty members and employees who are packing concealed or unconcealed or both. i agrey that we need to invest in protecting our little ones with armed officers at our schools, the map is an invasion of privacy tho !!!

I would not waste education money on cops I would train serious employees to carry.
Time to quit enforcing the safe schools act cause it does not work. Only bad guys can take guns into schools. That is sad!!
I used to freak them out when I taught hunter education classes at school. Drug in every darn kinda gun I could find. It was crazy but the kids loved it.

For the first time ever this past season we were not allowed to bring firearms into school to do Hunter Ed. Sad.

Somebody took the original authors of the map and posted their addresses on the net. They announced that these people dont have guns so go see them. Good stuff.....
