You all that remember DH will remember him posting this. I found some fish oil pills cheap so I am going to use a syringe and extract the oil out of the gellitan pill. Cheaper than ordering fish oil with shipping. Now to find a good mink lure cheap...

I have used them but I just poke a hole in the end of the capsule with my knife and squirt it in the DP, some times just around the lip

They sell fish oil at wal-mart in sporting goods on the fishing supply aisle, 8 oz bottles for 3$, thats where I get mine, I usually get a bunch cause after summer they stop selling it.

Asians are a curse but easy fish oil and bait for dozens of critters and cut bait for set lines. Ive used the various liquid fish baits before. It works, there was a red one coons n possums liked. Had a spicy strawberry odor? In the fall our wallys clearences them out for about $1.50. Some years I'll use it some years not. The dough and dip baits work in land and water sets. I know a guy that uses Bee-Jays as a base for his canine baits. He used to buy it at wallys in tge fall on sale(and still does on occasion) but not he buys it a gallon at a time from the makers.

Bow fishing for'em is fun but, i know many that never kill one. Very hard to hit. If you can get above them and shootem before they jump but its rare to find a alot like that. Good luck. We get more justcreving the motor and letem jump in. Shotgun is reported to work awesome ;-) but, thats not legal everywhere. Keep a whetstone handy. Those Y bones dull a blade quick. Most time we just fillet off the sides and use that. Rest of the carcass is turtle food/bait.
