I used a little BJ's catfish bait one year that I had left over from the summer. For some reason my lure order hadn't came in time for the season opener. It did a pretty good job on fox and coyotes, but then again,it was the first of the season.I think if it had been colder I might have had to add glycerine or something to antifreeze it.BJ's has a cheesy smell to me.Wouldn't be my first choice, but sometimes you just have to make do.Haven't ever tried it again thou.

Bee Jay made a great red fox lure/bait for me in the 70's and 80's. Several years ago I "rememberd" it again. I use it asa change-up or when things get weird. Too bad we don't have as many fox nowadays.
