Have any of you fellas used for bait? I have some and am planning on using it. Will it work for bobcat? Any special instructions or just chuck it down a hole?

I have no personal experience with using beef liver but I did read a post by Asa Lennon on another board that was pretty interesting. He said that he used to toss beef liver and pork liver to the coyotes and foxes he kept for urine collection. Neither would eat the beef liver but both would snatch the pork liver out of the air when he tossed it in the pen. The beef liver just laid in the pen and rotted. He didn't mention anything about bobcats. If you try it let us know if it works.

Thanks, maby we just discovered a way to yote proof a cat set! I'm going to try it on a few cat sets but will be downhearted if it turns away fox. I have little interest in yotes so that will be fine.

I have used it to catch catfish and then used the leftoverfish guts. Makes a great bait when used that way
