The only one with nails was in really soft mud. Those are about 3/4 inch deep at least

How big around. If ya can put up something next to em like a chew can or quarter. That's helps a ton when guessing.

There were dozens. Most about 1 1/2" -2" found different sets

Little too elongated for a dog.Real soft mud makes a little harder to tell.The coyotes two front toes will be more protruded than that of a dog.Most hound tracks are pretty round while some of your sheperd types are inbetween round and slightly elongated.Normal coyote track is around 2 1/4 inches long with the front foot being a little bigger than the back.
