Ok, so here's a little "How To" for some of the youngens.. 1: Go shoot some squirrels 2: Take and cut the base of the tail and down the top part of the legs to where you can get in and strip the tail. 3: Stand on the tail, pull till the skin is down to the head. 4: Pull out the legs, ring the skin around the neck and feet. 5: Hang to dry. Once dry, you can cut the tail off for flagging and use the rest for eye appeal / scent. Just cut the skin and you have access to pull the fur off and scatter around the set.

I'd rather sell the tails to Mepps for cash money.

What's Mepps payin nowadays? when I was a kid it wasn't worth the postage to send them. (the check i got from meps barely paid for the shipment) I imagine it's even worse now that postage is rediculous.

A man could live fat for the rest of his days on .19 cent tails.....or not.....actually that like getting "nothing"...... I used to tie them to my bicycle. Give them to kids.....thats worth 19 cents.

Send over 50 and they refund the shipping, No problem with saving them up. Stick them in a freezer after dry and they keep for years. Last I heard it was $.26 for prime greys, over 100.

Nope, dip the butt end in water, then in a small container of salt, lay out straight, and they will dry just fine, even put them in the freezer right a way to freeze dry. They don't care about the skin, just the hair. www.mepps.com

Waste of time imo...In Marionville they have white Tree Rats...Wonder if they would be worth more.

Well not sure. Their in town, n in the woods as well. I'm not sure but I would think they would be legal....Pretty cool to watch them run around to say the least. Remember my first time seeing one going through their town with Grandpa as a little fella and was in aww.
