Salt water. Is what I use. And I bread em in andys red for fish and chicken and deep fry for 3 minutes. Makes them old reds eat like a baby gray.

Oh man I cant wait till it starts to really cool off so I can go get me a mess of them squirrels. I always put mine in a crockpot with lipton onion soup mix and crock em till they are nice and tender then drain them let em cool off for a little bit while I am preparing the skillet and grease to fry them in. Fire up the oven throw in a load of whop bisquits then coat and fry them squirrels in seasoned flour and make me a batch of gravey out of the dripping in the skillet and you one of the best meals there is!!!! Oh in case you are wondering what whop bisquits are its just canned bisquits you buy in the store I always called they that cause you unpeel the wrapper some then whop on the counter top to get them out.
