i work at a meat processing facility on the clean up crew we get lots of big hunks of meat mostly pork and beef. most of it is fat but i was wondering would this make good predator bait in sets like a cubbie. and i heard u can taint it somehow by burying it for awhile just dont know how long tho. what u guys think?

Fat doesn't taint, it just turns rancid. I would use that for bait stations, or scatter around areas that you are setting, to draw them to your sets. I usually stockpile butcher scraps for later when it gets cold enuf to start snaring.

You can use it fresh or let it set around awhile. I have a neighbor that butchers a lot of deer and cattle, and I get all his scraps. They really work well for draw stations, and I get enuf of it, that some will set around till it gets moldy. Don't hurt it a bit for yotes!

The beavers,I'd chunk or grind and let it get a little smell to it first. Then add SB to it to stop the decomposition. The fish, same thing only put in the freezer fresh.
