I sent you the honey......I see that in there alot. When you get a lure that meets your criteria, send me a jug of it. Honestly Yote, I see very few fox in my area. They do not mix with all the coyotes out here.

No offence but you need to narrow your objective a little bit......are you making a gland lure, a food lure or a curiosity lure?

"IF" you access to any red fox anals I suggest you concentrate on a small quanity of GOOD gland lure. Red fox gland lure is used by more professional trappers to catch coyotes, bobcats and mountain lions all across the nation (but it needs to be good stuff without a lot of "volumizers" LOL!!).

"Volumizers" would be ear butts, lymph nodes, foot pads, testicles, sex organs and any other part of the animal but the anal gland it's self and possibly the bladders.

Sounds like the small time trapper should buy some gland lure from a reputable maker.

I not sure how to say it .I feel the gland that I save just little more punch to it .I did do many time I catch a female I will take sex organ out and take right back out in the woods or fields and put right in dirt set and you want talk about hot set it work very well. But over the years I just feel that I am missing somthing on the gland lure that could take little more hit to it.volumizer I never try it and I don't why I never did it I have read about in hawbaker book I think

Krank, for 98% of the trappers they probably should buy their lure....hard to go wrong with Hawbakers.
Yote, the volumizer stuff is what should go to the carcass pile...don't need it.
You also need to understand that most of us just don't have any red fox to trap. If I catch 5-10 a year it is a good year. Most of the red fox gland lures we use is to kill coyotes, bobcats and mountain lions.
