Same here. Except for one old Weem's Wildcall all mine are open read. Versatile.

The verminator open reed tweety line seems to always get the job done as far as distress calls go, you cant beat them. as for howling i like the dan thompson red desert howler...

I second the Tally-ho. I use the Primos Randy Anderson Lil-dog and Hot-dog mouth pieces a lot. JM.02W.
I also use the Ki-Yi because it can be used either way.

For howlers I go with the hotdog and the lil dog howlers from the primos randy anderson series of calls, for distress I use the buck gardner predator 2 call and the buck gardner raspy jack rabbit call I used these distress calls for the first time last season and had a lot of success with them

just got a fox pro pied-piper. bite reed design. sounds wild! havent used it yet seems to take practius to make constant sounds?? that may not matter anny one use this type?

That's an open-reed call, and what most of us seem to prefer. The best part is, even when you screw up with this call, it still sounds good. Think of it as the rabbit is in the 'yotes mouth, and 'old Wiley just bit back down on him. That pretty much is the way that mistake you just made sounds. Keep on callin', and learn to blow these calls from the from the diaghram, NOT the mouth.
