OK, i put 4 male fox glands, 1 mink gland, & 1 rat gland into a container to taint up. I also put in a cleaned skunk sac in there. After it taints for the year, what do i need to make this non-freezable? What stablizer or tinture should i put in it to make it ready for my line??? I do have sodium benzoate to preserve it, but no tintures, or stablizers, or antifreeze. I did't want to buy all kinds of stuff i don't really need, so thought i'd ask first.
I also did a container of 2 female fox glands with the bladders in there. I didn't do anything else to that one, should I??? Thanks in advance. -T-

well, i'm no lure maker, but i've been reading up on it quite a bit. sounds like you lust need to let em sit til next season and add glycerin when ready to begin using. i add glycerin to all my urine and even a little to some commercially made lures that get a little too thick in the cold. it is antifreeze and a protector. it keeps lure from drying out as fast.
