just add it to anything that you want to make freeze proof. bait, lure, urine, etc. amount needed will vary depending on what it is. if it still freezes, add more. most commercial lure and bait already has enough glycerin or other antifreeze that no more is needed, but i do find it really helps urine and any homemade concoction hold up to the weather. i'm sure most of you already know this, but the newer trappers will need to know this, so there it is. you can order glycerin from a trapper's supply dealer, or in a pinch get it at the pharmacy, or pharmacy section of discount store.
